Aphrodite's Wedding On the beach at the Rock of Aphrodite or the Baths of Aphrodite, (both sacred places) or any beach that is sacred to you. The ceremony is a loving affirmation of the vows you will make to each other, the details of those vows will be arranged in advance by you both in consultation with us. Petals and Drums This package can include all administration relating to the civil marriage arrangements and the special marriage licence at the town hall. You will be escorted by one of our wedding co-ordinators from your hotel or villa for a pre-booked appointment in order to make the application prior to the wedding day. We arrange for a ceremony on the beach at the Rock of Aphrodite or the Baths of Aphrodite, both sacred places, or any beach that is sacred to you. The Bride will have an affirmation ceremony before she arrives at the beach by boat strewn with petals (in keeping with her colour scheme) There will be a drummer on board to herald her arrival, the groom will be brought to the beach in a traditional Chicken bus with the entourage. A fiddler will play to lead the grooms procession to the waters edge to welcome the bride. The ceremony is a loving affirmation of the vows you will make to each other, the details of those vows will be arranged in advance. The celebration that follows can either be in the form of a picnic or Barbeque in the open (or at one of our villas, in a marquee) or in a taverna. Dance of Desire This package can include all administration relating to the civil marriage arrangements and the marriage licence at the town hall. We will provide you with a blissful morning massage and yoga session for the bride and groom (separately) The Bride will have an affirmation ceremony. The location for this wedding can be chosen by you, the choices on offer are rural or beach all over the island, we can also perform this wedding in the grounds of a villa ( see www.cyprus-villas.com ) of your choice. Tao and Tantra This package can include all administration relating to the marriage arrangements and the marriage licence at the town hall. A pre-booked appointment in order to make the application prior to the wedding day. This wedding is a summer only event unless we take the ceremony indoors. The Bride will have an affirmation ceremony before leaving her temporary residence. Get married in nature - we will prepare a space in nature for the ceremony, a quiet undisturbed and beautiful location usually in the mountains where after the ceremony everyone will leave and you may consummate your joining with wine and flowers. A car will be waiting to take you to the honeymoon house ( see a typical example ) which will have been ritually prepared with incense, drapery and flowers. A handmaiden will be at your service for the next 24 hours to bring you refreshments whenever you wish. Full Moon Fiesta A simple yet powerful ceremony on the beach within a circle of drummers on the full moon at night. This wedding or renewal of vows obviously has limited places per year. Sunrise and Water This package can include all administration relating to the marriage arrangements and the marriage licence at the town hall. This wedding choice will have you on the beach to welcome the dawn, you will both walk a labyrinth made with good intent by all present followed by a joyous cavalcade onto a traditional yacht. A short sail later in the peace and tranquillity of deep water, your ceremony will take place with family and friends (maximum of 15 guests )and an onboard wedding feast that can be continued into the evening in the harbour, or can carry on for a day or a week to incorporate the honeymoon. There are 3 cabins on board and so a honeymoon cruise could be from 2 up to 6 people. The Mother of all weddings Now for the all singing all dancing package...
